Delete account — Eureki

This page explains how to delete your Eureki account and associated data, under GDPR (Art. 17 — right to erasure).

1. How to delete your account inside the app

The app processes the request immediately and signs you out, returning to the initial authentication screen.

If you no longer have access to the app (for example, you lost your device), send an email to support@eureki.app with:

Subject: Account deletion request
Body: the email associated with the account (if created with email/Google) or a description of the device where you used the app

We respond to GDPR requests within a maximum of 30 days. This period may be extended by up to 2 months in complex cases.

When you delete your account, Eureki removes:

Firebase Authentication account (UID and credentials)
Firestore document at users/<uid>: name, email, goal, level, plan stage
Conversational memory from the Eureki backend (profile, context, short Ask history)
Notes stored locally on the device
Chat history with the mentor (Ask Eureki)
Progress (completed steps, streak, current stage)
Local encryption keys (Android KeyStore)
Local preferences, quotas, and cache

RevenueCat + Google Play Billing transaction history — retained for 7 years due to Portuguese tax obligations.
Crash diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics) — retained for 90 days (Firebase default policy); no personal information, only sanitized technical stack traces.
Backend logs — retained for 30 days for diagnostics, with IP addresses anonymized/aggregated after 7 days.
